Made You Look Radio Coming Alive

Much like this blog is coming back to life, a new force is coming alive in the local Victoria Hip Hop scene, and that force is Made You Look Radio. I have had the pleasure to be developing the website for the main brain behind the operation, DJ Myl. Fire up one of Myl’s mashups while you glaze your eyes to the following text. The website is still in its growing phase, content is being deployed and shifted as decisions are made but the core is on. It is a wordpress install morphed into a cms format, and has modified extensions allowing for social account connection through gigya, much like this blog now. Made You Look Radio is a Hip Hop Radio show that broadcasts every Monday from 8-9 PM (PST) on 101.9 FM in Victoria BC, Canada. They’re also available streaming on the net here. DJ Myl also generates a lot of dope mashups and remixes worthy of note, so if you feel the sound snippet loaded on the post here go scope the full body of work. At the blog you can catch all the interviews, remixes, photos, videos and news that you may have missed on the radio show. This monday dj myl will be showcasing superb next level hip hop in promotion of the new Shadow Huntaz album Dark Matter, which i will be reviewing later today for the thinktank. Myl really does a wicked show, both main and indie, so tune in, especially if you’re local Vic crew. You wont be disappointed.
