Ambasada Gavioli, a famous Slovenian night club located in Izola, was shaken to the ground by the master J this march and it’s my pleasure to share a high quality edition of the set with you. I found a reasonably good copy about but it had some glaring imbalances, so I applied my immense ever expanding audio knowledge into getting a hot dynamic master out with balanced levels across the board. Widened up just a smidge too. From ipod to auto, should make you happy. Finished up with a nice lame vbr rinse.
Jeff Mills has been a mainstay in my audio dimension since the early 90’s, I just can’t get enough. A true master of the party and the beat, a set like this is not heard every day. This particular session is just full on start to finish. Super high energy yet dynamic and full of those Mills twists, turns, breaks, switches and more. Just found this one out and it’s up as the featured mix of August at the main site. Link here.
OK, the youtube videos of the party are pretty poor and dark, but I think this one grabs the ambience at the massive 2500 person venue best, so pause the player and have a view to see a snippet of the night in question.
