TDS is considered by many to be the greatest NIN album, and I have to agree. When I first heard it in 94 in the ditches of Salmon Arm BC it's power and beauty opened my eyes anew to the industrial sound being pioneered at that time. While Ministry, Skinny Puppy and others where also producing works that had me resonating full on this particular album was far and beyond anything else of that era. A timeless work of art through every minute created with an unmatched energy and devotion to the craft.
